Sculpt Decision!

In order to create our dear Kanaya, I first have to take a few things into consideration.

1. Trolls have grey skin. Do I want to put hours upon hours and money into searching for limited edition sculpts on the secondhand market, or do I want to dye the doll myself and risk ruining it if, say, I sand it poorly and the dye job is uneven?

2. How much money do I have, and what can we do with my budget? What companies can I afford to look at?

Well, it turns out I don't have to answer either of those questions. The very cheapest doll company there is, Resinsoul, just so happens to offer the most extensive selection of custom resin colors out of any company (in this hobby, price does not always dictate quality, but what the company thinks of themselves and whether or not they have to outsource their casting of parts).  I've found a beautiful little 42cm girl, the Resinsoul Mei. She starts at $140 USD, bald, naked, and with a crappy pair of free eyes. For an extra $12, I can get her in a lovely smooth grey. As an added bonus, she has pointed ears!

Quick Edit: Turns out I'm getting much more cash for Christmas and my birthday than I thought, so I'll be ordering her VERY soon, as well as working my way doen the list of things to buy while waiting for her to arrive.

OMG PIC TIEM.

Here's the Company Shot of Mei.

The Human Ear Version, to Show the Body.

A Greyskin Mei I Found, Owned by Britttu on dA (not the best example, but hey)
And a Shot by LillyKitten on dA to Show You How Pretty She Can Be!
